Martin Musigire is the Founding Partner of PACT Advocates and a Ugandan lawyer with over 10 years of practical legal experience. Prior to founding PACT Advocates, he worked with three law firms, gaining broad exposure across a wide range of legal practice areas. He represents both local and multinational companies, bringing a commercially grounded and strategically astute approach to every mandate.
Martin specialises in Energy and Natural Resources, Corporate Governance, Land Conveyancing, and Sports Law. He has represented blue-chip financial institutions, including DFCU Bank, Finance Trust Bank, and Bank of Baroda, in complex debt recovery mandates, and has advised the boards of numerous upscale companies on governance structures, succession planning, and the management of conflicts of interest.
He currently serves as part of the team engaged to draft the debt write-off policy for the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), and is concurrently pursuing advanced studies in Corporate Governance at institutions in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
